Exodus Founding Narrative in Chronicling America - America’s Public Bible Project
Abstract:
Throughout Reconstruction and the Revolution in America, Religious narratives are consistently used and interpreted to be a basis for defining America’s place as a new nation. Exodus was a largely popular means for justifying and arguing in political and social circles during these periods. Over time, their usage and meanings helped to shape the evolving national identity and social climate.Title
